Worst Ever is a podcast hosted by myself and Alaa Khaled. It grew out of a live show that started many moons ago here in LA in the basement theater of a mexican restaurant known as Casita Del Campo in Silverlake. It’s been home to many a drag queen over the years. You couldn’t march down the rickety staircase, margarita in hand, into this semi-death trap and not leave with glitter in some sort of crevice and a pretty strong buzz only the likes of a chicken quesadilla would tame. Occupational hazard for most of us involved.

Alaa and I met nearly 15 years ago in acting class and it’s a love/hate relationship that revolves around him making me crazy, eating all my food, inserting himself as the godfather of my child and basically never letting quit him. Fun fact, his brother is a DJ and a fairly famous one at that. I’ll let you figure that one out.

Anyway, this show celebrates the worst, most humiliating moments in life because we believe pain is best served funny! (sometimes with cocktails, natch)  Some of our past guests have included Jodie Sweetin (Full/Fuller House), Rory O’Malley (Hamilton, Book of Mormon), Carly Jibson (Guest Book, One Mississippi), Tom Lenk (Buffy), Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven), Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You) and Nicholle Tom (The Nanny).
