I love holiday food. In fact, I read this great card that I felt was so appropriate for the holidays and I’m going to share it with you.
Hello. Are you talking straight to my life?
Okay so I don’t drunk text my ex’s anymore but the rest feels slightly on par 😂. The holidays can bring out the worst in us, probably because there’s just so much riding on trying to make these few days “special”, and “important” while navigating everyone else’s drama.
Which is why I try to stick to just eating and drinking my face off. Hey, I do it once or twice a year and there’s always New Year’s Day to hit ClassPass hard again.
Giving you my moms cranberry chutney recipe and her carrot soufflé recipe, because if there’s anything I know, these two things taste and smell good enough to make everyone quit whining.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the the old canned cranberry standby as much as the next person, but there’s something about the pop of fresh cranberry and the smell from this cooking that makes the whole house feel festive. Also you can slather this on nearly any meat or leftover sandwich and be delighted. (The “moist maker” from Friends is a real thing)
Both of these are filled with sugar and I’m disclaiming this fact. (See previous photo).
